Projects depending on location will focus on master planning studies, water or waste treatment facility design, water reuse feasibility studies, conveyance system design, facility/site planning studies, start-up & operation, services during construction, odor control & treatment, recharge/recovery studies and design, rate studies, regulatory compliance assistance, wetlands treatment restoration, well design & hydrogeological studies, computer modeling of systems watershed management and use attainment analysis.Requirements:Education: BS Civil Engineering, PE certification desired, if no PE currently must have the desire to obtain PE in near future. Environmental Engineer degree must also have additional Civil Engineer degree. MS degree in Civil Engineer is desired, but not required.Requirements:10+ years of demonstrated consulting experience working in a hands on design environment. Seek and evaluate contract bids. Role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.The right candidate will be experienced in the study and design of water treatment plants, and waste water plants serving municipalities and can prepare design and/or construction documents.Role requires demonstrated past experience consulting on city and county water reclamation district projects.Solid understanding and design experience in the areas of structures/structural, concrete, hydrology, hydraulics, fluid mechanics, dynamics and water/waste water treatment plant design.Coordinate staff and projects in the fast paced environment. Work focuses on civil design for development and re-development projects. Interface with government and private sector clients and function as a key leadership role.Estimate quantities; prepare cost estimates; manage and oversee contractor activities.Interact with clients, company project managers, team engineers, and project staff. Civil Engineer II role will oversee, mentor, and lead junior staff conducting field investigations, engineering analysis, design, report preparation, construction document preparation and construction oversight for projects.Lead and participate in site development projects.Experience using AutoCAD, and GIS software Ideal candidate will settle for nothing less than working for an ethical, innovative and progressive company dedicated to their clients and valued employees.
